The Phoenix of July

The phoenix for the month of July. Watermarked because I don't want people stealing this image and sticking it on other sites (not that anyone would though...)

My original sketch was that of an eagle-type fiery phoenix, standing on an old pillar behind a dusky yellow sky. After the picture came out, the dusky sky reminds me more of air pollution than anything :s

The tail was edited countless times because I was just unsure of what kind of tail would go well with this one, and it ended up with a fiery centipede-looking tail.
