Pokefied Bugs by princess-phoenix Pokefied Bugs by princess-phoenix
I was browsing through the whatsthatbug.com site, and as I was looking at the photos I thought "these would look like cool fakemon", and that is what this piece is.

I know some of them really suck as designs, mostly because I took only 10 minutes to sketch each one on paper. I'm still practicing with the pokemon shading, and any tips with that would be helpful!

I don't consider these to be actual fakemon, although I do like the Nawab caterpillar and I might add that one to my fakemon collection.

The names there are the names of the bugs they were referenced from. I can't think of pokemon-like names for any of them at the moment.

BANDED ORDWEAVER and Ribbon Winged Lacewing look pretty cool. They'd both make excelent fakemon.

Yes, they are also know as thread-winged antlions :)

Larva forms of antlions are generally known as doodlebugs:

[link] (if you scroll down you'll see their larval forms). I've been unable to find a cocoon form though :(
