Description
This is an entry for a mythical creature contest. I decided to call this creature a Fenox.

In the fictional land where this beast comes from, humans wanted to create a working creature that was strong and long living, and so they strained the DNA of their strongest working beast and combined it with that of a phoenix. The result was a creature of great strength that had the power to revive itself when fallen. They quickly created mass numbers of this beast to work the land.
The Fenox was even stronger than their traditional working beast but its temperament was that of a creature yearning for eternal freedom, and many Fenox escaped the confines of domestication. The people realized their errors and tried to destroy the escaped beasts but the Fenox's ability to revive itself proved their attempts futile. They now eat the crops they were meant to farm but the people can't do anything about it.
